Chemical Peels
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels use specific formulations to exfoliate the top layers of the skin. The outermost layer of skin will eventually exfoliate and peel off. Once this happens, new skin will regenerate with healthier skin cells and increased collagen production. The results are firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
Chemical Peels treat a variety of skin concerns, including:
- Acne
- Superficial acne scars
- Dark Spots
- Melasma
- Wrinkles
- Rough skin

There are many benefits of receiving a chemical peel treatment, including fuller, plumper skin, better tone and texture, and a brighter, more radiant complexion.
Chemical peel treatments are performed by topically applying a unique and safe chemical solution to the skin. This chemical solution improves the skin’s texture and appearance by eliminating dead skin cells and generating healthier skin cells. The damaged skin will exfoliate and peel off over a period of days. The results are healthy, glowing skin.
It can take anywhere from three to ten days to shed the old, damaged skin and reveal the healthier, more vibrant skin underneath—plan for considerable flaking and shedding post-treatment. Do not pick at the skin or help it shed, as this can lead to scarring.
While a chemical peel is not painful, it can be somewhat uncomfortable. Your Boostology aesthetician will help alleviate discomfort by providing you with a fan. Communicate with your aesthetician, and they can effectively manage your comfort levels.
Your Boostology aesthetician can help you create a treatment plan to achieve your aesthetic goals. Some patients prefer to receive a chemical peel a few times a year, while others only require one or two.
