Microneedling with PRP/PRF

Microneedling creates micro-injuries in the skin to boost collagen and elastin, add volume to the skin, heal acne scarring, minimize the appearance of pores, and diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles. PRP/PRF is absorbed by the skin, shortening recovery time from microneedling while speeding along the collagen production process. Microneedling with PRP/PRF is an excellent option for all skin types and addresses many skin concerns.

PRP/PRF Therapy FAQ's

Numbing cream can be applied to help with pain control. Your Boostology injector will communicate with you through the procedure to ensure you are comfortable.
The area can be red and swollen for up to 3 days after the procedure. Bruising is always possible, especially under the eyes. Bruising can last up to 2 weeks like a normal bruise. We will provide you with recommendations and products to use following your procedure. Your face may begin to peel after a few days, but this will subside.
Depending on skin texture, scarring, and sun damage, most people will need multiple treatments. If you have acne scarring or other texture concerns, you may need additional treatments.
After your hair restoration treatment, you may experience mild tenderness, redness, headaches, and mild swelling. These symptoms should subside within 48 hours.
You may see desired results within 4-6 months after your initial treatment. However, results are temporary, and treatment will need to be repeated every 6-12 months.
